My cat's name is Mister. And I am sure you probably figured out that my dad did the picture. I think he said it was colored pencils. The sky looks like watercolor, but only the artist knows for sure.

I hit a couple garage sales during lunch today. A co-worker and I share a thrifty nature so we went to the rummage sale that was at my parent's church. Unfortunately, Mary and I covet the same thing - fabric/textiles. Fortunately, we have different tastes. :) I spent $2 at the rummage sale. It was really 1.10, but I made them keep the change. I got a big thick washable rug for my Sadie to lay on the deck and some fabric. I didn't spend anything at the 2nd one, but Mary got a sheet set to cut into strips for locker hooking rugs (another of our shared interests). She didn't get anything at the 3rd, but I bought a MS Word 2003 Manual for $5. Then I created a receipt at work, had my boss sign it, and was reimbursed. My total spent - $2 !
I am really looking forward to going to Cincinnati Sunday morning. I used to live there and I have been told it has changed. Apparently it isn't the friendly, small town atmosphere that I used to love. They had some police vs race riots several years ago and apparently it has had a lasting effect. Too bad. I remember you used to be able to walk all along the riverfront near the stadium late at night. Downtown at night had a lot of bars and restaurants, buggy rides in the park, and they have enclosed walkways above the streets, connecting the buildings. I am riding with 3 other girls in their company van, so it will be more of an adventure. Look for lots of photos and updates.
I am not looking forward to leaving Sadie. I made plans to take her to Brandi's house after dinner tomorrow. :( I know she will be in good hands, I am just attached to the damn cutie-pie. :)
I am thinking of turning my back deck into an office. I am hoping to do my studying and work out there in the morning this summer. I did my bills/budget out there the other night and it made the task almost pleasant. :)
I bookmarked my blog on my dad's computer this evening. Now he will be able to keep up with the blogging cousins and 2 sisters. I warn you, he really only looks at the pictures. So post lots of pictures!
Okay, I have to go do more packing...more later
