Made it!

Yep, I made it to Cincinnati. It wasn't a bad drive. There are 4 of us and has been fun. After lunch, just this side of the Ohio line, I called to check on Sadie.

She did not waste any time pining over my absence. She is having a great time! She is with a family of 5 out in the middle of nowhere on the river. They discovered that if they say "Come Here" Sadie will bark. When they asked about it, I could only imagine that she thinks they are saying "Someone's here". That is what I say when someone comes in the driveway and naturally, she barks. She has adapted to the situation completely and I have to wonder if I will ever get my dog back...

We were stuck in a traffic jam right outside Cincinnati, nasty accident and lots of rubber necking.

My other companions are staying in the hotel across the street, the Hyatt. We are going to meet for dinner later...oh, I hope not too much later, it is already 7pm.

As soon as I got in the room, I took pictures before I could mess it up. I have a view of the river, but the sun is glaring on the dirty window and it is hard to see out the window. :)
