Saturday - cool and windy

Okay, I am starting something now! I just inspired a third person to start blogging.

Maybe inspired isn't the right word, but I started something. Cassandra just started her blog, she is in Raleigh via southern California. http://miss-seabrook.blogspot.com.

I talked with my eharmony dude last night on the phone. Yes, I narrowed it down to one. He seems nice. I am not holding his love for golf against him and he is not caring that I don't care about golf. He is the assistant manager at a course in AuGres (sp) and a retired police officer. Apparently, he is a PGA golfer too, but I haven't confirmed that yet. Unfortunately, this backfires my plan to have companionship for the summer. He is already working 12 hour days.

His name is Jerry. So is Cari's boyfriend. Cari and Jerry and Teri and Jerry. Oh boy.

I enjoyed drinking my coffee today out of "da mug". It has excellent weight and balance. :)

Sadie and I walked at Marl Lake today. There were lots of people there. Most were fishing. We had a nice walk. I saw lots of snakes, at least 5, and some scat I could not identify. I may google it. I did not take pictures of it. For those of you that might not know, scat is wild animal poop. In zoology class we had to remove the bones from owl scat and reconstruct the vole skeleton within it. Not something I would do for fun at home, but at least there was a point to digging around in the owl scat. Anyway, these all had short course hair in it and what looked like a tiny deer hoof. I will see what I can find that would eat fawns. Fox, coyote, or bobcat I am thinking. Not a bear, I don't think, but maybe. Sadie rolled in it, but I didn't.

I'm off to add Cassandra to the blog list and then to research poop. LOL
