Yes, we went to the zoo. It was a long day and I did not get home until 9:45pm. That includes going to get my dear Sadie. I am still dog tired (pun intended) so I will try to post the pictures soon.
I forgot that this was Memorial Weekend! I will be cleaning the gazebo and NOT driving anywhere! LOL Impossible I know, but gas is $4.20. I found out during work that they were cranking prices all over and raced out of work to hit the gas station at the bottom of the hill that was still $3.97. By the time I finished pumping my budgeted amount of $50, there were cars lining up and waiting. Word spread fast!
Gas in Houston this morning was $3.69, projected to be $4.20 on Monday. The new guy at the gas station confirmed it, and said he had told his boss that he needed to work at a closer store, he was driving 40+ miles a day and couldn't afford the gas to and from his work location. How sad is that, the gas man can't afford the gas!
ReplyDeleteWe are about $3.84 in Raleigh now...I can't believe it cost me $75 to fill up my tank! Ugh...that's almost $100 bucks.
