A road less driven

I took a dirt road home from knit group tonight and was rewarded with this photo opportunity.

I believe it is a partridge. I didn't get the shot of its turkey imitation, but the tail feathers were fanned out too. Love the Edwardian-like neck ruffle. :)

I hurt my back working in the yard yesterday. Hurt it real good. I was on my back the rest of the day with a heating pad. I woke up feeling much better but still sore enough to go to the chiropractor. And then I called Higgins Lake Landscaping. At the last minute they had a cancellation and at 4:50pm they were at my house and going to town! By 5:30 they were done, the yard was done and I had a smile on my face. It's done!!
