Wed. up north

Nice rainstorm last night!

There was one really long roll of thunder in the beginning. Sadie went nuts. I like to think it was joy. It has been a long time since we heard a good thunder. It is evidence that spring is in the wind!

I had a nice talk with another old friend of mine this evening. If there is a bright side to being laid off, it is that I am renewing friendships while networking. I have worked with this teacher in the past and I wanted to ask him to be a reference for me on my resume. That took 2 seconds, and then we spent 1/2 hour catching up.

eHarmony is keeping me busy. I have requested information from 20 guys now. There are 5 steps in every match. 19 are still in step 1. I have a contact in K-zoo and we are on step 3. I have 1 in Saginaw that I am on the fence about. I am going to wait a few days and think about it, or maybe he will initiate the "First Communication" which is only 5 questions you pick from a list of questions. I had to laugh at one question: How important is it that your family approve of your partner?" I was thinking that if someone asked me that I would think that they were worried about it! Then I was asked that question by one of my matches! I am enjoying this process.

Happy Birthday Julie!

I am beginning to think I have been hibernating too long! Come on summer! :)
