Mom and I took a ride today to check out the fire damage. We stopped at the top of skyline first and couldn't see anything, but as soon as we got on the freeway you could see why they closed the freeway!
I drove and mom snapped pictures with my camera. Her first digital camera experience to my knowledge. She did good!
I am uploading the photos to my flickr account and you should be able to click on the photos to see the full size photos.
Usually, I crop and resize the photos and insert them into the blog post. This time I am using flickr to post it to my blog. Someone had asked me about this in a comment a few weeks ago and I had never got around to posting about it.
If you want to post photos to a blog from flickr, you have to make the picture available to the public. When I post pictures of the kids, I am not comfortable doing that. If I upload the photo from my hard drive to the blog post, then they are only viewable to people reading my blog.
