Spring Cleaning

I went to bed early last night-8:30. I can't shake this sore throat that has been annoying me all week. I believe it is allergies. I am spending a lot of time outside. Yesterday, I sat out on the deck most of the evening reading. It was beautiful outside The neighbor came over to say hi.

Today I cleaned house-spring cleaning. I am also moving things around to get ready for the wall demo. So I unloaded the bookcase in the blue guestroom and moved it out into the living room. Then unloaded the kitchen bookcase and moved it into the guestroom and refilled it with books. I did go through the books and set aside a box to take to the used bookstore for credit. Everything was washed, dusted, and vacuumed. Windows are being de-frocked of their plastic insulation and thrown open to catch the breezes. Floors were swept and mopped. Bathroom soaked in scrubbing bubbles (I love that smell!). All that before noon!

After all that cleaning, I had kicked up a lot of dust. I had to eat and take some antihistimine, which I knew would knock me out. Therefore, I promised myself a nap in the hammock. I had a wonderful four hour nap outside and even got some color. Sadie joined me off and on while I slept, I could feel her jumping in and out. It wasn't very sunny, but it was still 70 + degrees and I was comfortable in shorts and tank top.

Now I have to see about some dinner, then I think I will knit. The house is tore up still from all the displaced furniture. More thoughts of a yard sale again today.

I ordered a Higgins Lake Mug that I designed from www.zazzle.com/higginslakeonline today. I really want to check their quality and the quality of my artwork before I go much further. I like the latest beach bags I did, but I liked the mug too, and it was less expensive. The beach bags are cool because you can add your own text. I was thinking add your name and phone number in case you lost it, or you could add a monogram. I have so many bags though...can you ever have too many?
