reschedule the No Worker Left Behind appointment I missed when I was sick. She had a cancellation and was able to fit me in at 2:30, so I flew to MI Works with resume in hand. I spent 5 minutes with her and 1 hour in the help area trying to find jobs that require the bachelor degree I am interested in. It is a management and organizational development (MOD) degree - I did find two in all their compiled want ads and from their talent bank. I need 5. I don't have to apply, I have to prove their is a demand for the degree. Or find another school and degree program. Anyway, I had a friend working there and we did some catching up, commiserating, and got/gave a heartfelt hug when I left. Who says the government is uncaring? :)The only cure for the blues when I left was a Higgins Lake fix! After filling up the propane tank, Sadie and I headed down to Kelly Beach to take some shots. It looks like the ice is gone, but it is hard to tell since I have not been to the north end recently. You can see the sand is still pushed up into piles from the ice pushing when the wind blew it into the beach.

Then I came home and hauled railroad ties and finished the retaining wall in the back yard. Well, finished stacking the railroad ties into some semblance of a retaining wall.
I worked in the house most of the weekend. Moved 4 bookcases around and finished clearing the kitchen area in anticipation of the wall coming down. *happy dance* I was kinda happy to go back to work today, I needed the break.
what a difference a month makes!
