Sadie has a friend over for a play date and maybe it will turn into a sleepover. Stella the collie is visiting while her mom makes an airport run. They are a bit calmer this evening, but only a little bit. Stella is getting braver and keeps following the cats and watching everything they do.
When she started barking at them, I put up the baby gate to give the cats a break. Mister was not fazed, he made it a point to act as if he didn't care. He ducked under the gate to his spot to pretend nonchalance. Stella would get close, scare herself and leap back and then move back slowly. Over and over. It was hilarious! When I went to pet the cat he was so tense it was like petting a rock! He was putting on a good act of bravery too.I didn't sleep well last night and I am tired today, at least more so than usual. I need to work on the baby blanket! At this rate, the kid will arrive before it is done. My neighbor baby is due this month.
