I don't believe it! I have been whining and complaining, sweating, swearing, and frustrated about my kitchen. Just today, I found a way to bring it up in 3 different conversations...at least.
I go to the news station website to see if my chickadee made the hot shots on their website (it didn't) and I find an UGLY KITCHEN CONTEST! $35,000 makeover for the winner

HELLO, I have the pictures, I have had lots of practice pointing out all the flaws, my kitchen is uglier than the pictures they are showing...I better get busy! Deadline is March 15, so I do have time to polish my presentation...hmmm, should I put the cabinet doors back on?
