I have added a weather link for visitors to check the local weather. I tend to talk about it a lot so it seemed natural. I don't really like the way it looks. The package and advertisement promised more, but perhaps I have not mastered blog HTML yet. Guess I should check with my students!
I have been struggling with trying to modify the display. I want a wider blog across the page. This seems too narrow for most browser displays. You may see this page looking bad before it gets better. I love the color scheme and design, just want to "tweak" it a bit.
Speaking of the weather. I took a picture of the sledding hill (Pioneer Hill) yesterday. No snow! See? Yes, it is January.
And tonight we are under a severe weather advisory. I ran down to the store for milk and gas ($3.00/gal and $3.19/gal, both are the lowest around) and the rain was starting to fall. Snow will follow at approximately 1"/hour. The phones at work were busy today with cancelation planning for schools and other events. Therefore, I will most likely NOT be going to teach my 8th grade class tomorrow. However, I may have to still go in to work!
