...I'm leaving on a jet plane.
This is the first time I have been on a plane in a long time. It was before 9/11 and before Sadie. Kristi and I incorporate the dogs into our vacations now and drive everywhere.
This will be the longest amount of time Sadie and I will have been separated before. My neighbor came over today for the run-through on Sadie care. She understands the anxiety of leaving your "baby" in the care of someone else. She leaves the care of her dog in my hands occasionally. She will call every night for an update and I understand. I will call her every night and she will understand too.
I have done multiple loads of laundry, packed a suitcase and a bag of knitting projects for the plane. I have my iTouch synched and ready to go. Some protein bars and a book, so I'm happy.
I will call tomorrow to confirm the flight, take care of a few last minute things, and go to bed early.
For the Ravelry crowd:
Wool Processing update: I received an email earlier in the week (this may be repeat info, if so sorry) from LC Guy. He has 80 lbs of assorted fleeces for me to pick up when I return. I will be busy this summer processing and dying wool and busy all winter spinning it. Oh darn! LOL
