The photo of the clock on the pool deck says it all. At 5:30pm, it was still over 100 degrees in Houston today.
The Twisted One and I went to the movies to see Star Trek. There, for the first time, I met a bucket of popcorn I couldn't finish. It wasn't that good, but that doesn't stop me. I really enjoyed the movie and, like everyone else, loved the young Spock. I couldn't warm up to J.T. Kurt.
Afterwards, we went to Wal-mart to pick up some things. I made guacamole when we got home. I can not believe I went this long without it! It is one of my favorite things.
Then I went to the pool with a book for the rest of the afternoon and evening. I floated around peacefully and with complete oblivousness to the heat. Ahh. I pondered great things, like...what color to paint my toenails. I had to get out when I became dangerously comfortable and began dozing off.This is Rocky. The family dog. He is thee slowest dog I have ever met. He walks slow, he moves slow, and I catch him staring at nothing for long periods of time. Mellow would be an understatement. But he's sweet and docile. It is kinda a nice contrast to my hyperactive, hyper-reacting Sadie. However, he will move a bit faster if he thinks you are trying to catch him....but only fast enough to stay ahead of you. But, in all honesty, if I had a fur coat in this heat, I don't think I would be moving anywhere fast either. I do miss my Sadie though. :(
I think you mean JT Kirk, but I'll forgive you. He really grows on you after you see it a few times. Plus he's tons cuter than Shatner.
