Beautiful Weekend!

The doctor appointment made me feel better. It appears I was suffering from something called serotonin syndrome. I wasn't losing my mind or headed for a nervous breakdown after all! YEAH! I was getting too much serotonin, the medication that works as my pain blocker. We dropped my dosage immediately and today, Sunday, I am feeling like a new gal.

Last night I slept well and I had a really nice nap in the hammock today. The weather has been awesome and life is good! Summer is coming!

My friend, Anne, stayed with me Thursday through Sunday. We had a nice time gabbing, relaxing, and hanging out at the gazebo. She brought her kayak and we took turns using it on the lake. It was so calm...and calming.

It was good to breathe the lake smells deeply into my lungs, look up through the red pines into the blue sky, and feel the cold sand and water on my feet again.

When I wasn't napping today, I was doing laundry and preparing to go to Houston. The Twisted One sent me an email on Friday and said it was 104 degrees with the heat index and her pool is 85 degrees. I can't wait to melt! I say that now, but watch my posts while I am there and see how I feel about the heat and humidity then!
