Not much to report here. I have been using the drumcarder, and basically playing with wool. I am not getting tired of it. I am looking forward to doing more of it OUTSIDE.
It was snowing this morning on my way to work. I am so tired of it. It gets to you after so long.
I am not feeling that great today. I want to say it is allergies, but I am not sure. I have a headache, sure, but I am achy and my face feels stuffed with cotton and it is throbbing.
On the bright side, I swear the radio said it will be 78 on Friday. Hm, snow on Wednesday, and heat wave on Friday? Crazy!
As part of my job, I have an iPod. In addition to other uses, I have been using it to listen to audiobooks on the drive to work. It is about 20-30 minutes. I can usually hear 3 or 4 chapters a day. I don't listen to the new stuff. I have been listening to classics.
My first was Anne of Green Gables. I loved that. It is a book I probably would not have read on my own, but thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Now I am listening to Pride and Prejudice. Another classic I would have a hard time reading, but the reader brings it to life.
Nutty weather, it'll whack your sinuses for sure! I use my iPOD to play games, I'm really into the Texas Hold em, Majong, and the free one, Klondike. For my birthday, I rec'd wireless speakers, so I hook my iPOD up in the house on the base, and take the speakers outside (150 feet is the max), the sound quality is great, and it's easy having them out there by the pool/grill/table without worry the iPOD will get wet or there will be an accident or anything! So, I've gotten good use out of my iPOD, but never an audio book, I like that thought though!
