We did not see the black dogs. I was looking for them after talking to the shelter today. Yeah, apparently the duo is well known in the area. They cover a wide area, are well know along that stretch for chasing deer and turkeys. Their owner seems to be a bit casual in claiming ownership. They had sent someone out to pick them up that evening, but they were already gone.

I saw a whole different side to Brandi today.
This afternoon, I was taking the deck chairs out of the shed and Brandi was just hanging out nearby. She wandered into the neighbor's yard and when I called her, someone called me. My neighbor had company, her DIL and grandson. Well, Brandi went nuts when she saw the boy. She ran in circles around him, smothered him with kisses, fetched sticks, chased each other around the shed, and when they finally settled in the dirt, she smiled happily while he laid next to her with his arm around her. She was in heaven! All this time, she just needed a "kid fix".
Some disappointing news this morning. Disappointing is really an understatement. LC Guy sheared the sheep yesterday. After crying, screaming, and pounding my hands and feet on the floor in a temper tantrum, it was arranged that I would head over first thing in the morning to pick up the wool and play with the critters. The shearing did not go well, I will try to go into more detail tomorrow when I know more.
My mom called and invited me to dinner Sunday for Easter. I will need to wait and find out when Brandi's family is going to pick her up. Also, I had arranged a long overdue phone call for the afternoon, but my mom said I could make the call from their house.
Earlier in the week, and again after the temper tantrum (yes, I am exaggerating a bit), I noticed that my emotions are raw. Mainly, it seems to be the tear's valve. I haven't cried, but it has been an effort not to. I may have mentioned before that the doctor is switching my meds around. She told me to let her know if I noticed anything or had any concerns. I figured this qualified, so I gave them a call when I got home this evening. While I was out for a walk, they left a message on my answering machine (yes, the phone is working again!) indicating I should stop in and pick up additional samples in order to increase the dosage of my new medicine. And told me to make an appointment first thing next week. So, I am glad I called.
I am going to hit the hay, so I can take off first thing in the morning. I need to be in Lake City by 8:30 and then up to Grayling to pick up my meds. That will work perfectly. I will be home before noon and may even get to take a nap.
