I am spring cleaning and setting up my other 2 bedrooms for company this summer.
I took Sadie for a long walk today, all up and down hills. She is completely tuckered out. She scared up a flock of turkeys and I was too busy laughing and marveling about how big they are in the air that I did not take a picture of them. I did take some other photos (see below).
I talked to both my sisters today. Probably should put that on the calendar! Can't wait to see Traci's post on the sand castle competition they went to in Galveston.
Cari is doing great. Fully a domestic goddess now. Always cooking and improving the house. It is spring and she is finding all kinds of plants and trees in her yard, looking them up in books to learn what they are. She is feeding the birds and learning about those too. I am going to try and get over there soon.
Traci and I were wondering....When is everyone rolling into town?
and
If we postpone the canoe trip until Sunday, Cari could come with us. Can everyone do that?
That's all for now...have to get back to my knitting.

Happy Sadie!

Turkey Vulture WAAAAY up in a tree.

Woodpeckers have been at this tree.

This deer is shedding and doesn't look that pretty. Sadie was whining in the car when I took the photo. She loves to run with the deer, but not for very long. She usually comes right back.
Pictures are great! Yea, that deer looks pretty ugly. I'm looking at a new camera, Sony Alpha. I used a coworkers Canon ATX Rebel at the golf tournament, and it's great for the action shots, so I'm definitely on the hunt before School BBall season, soccer season, and I'll be assisting JOrdan with her yearbook pictures if I can get some good photos.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm blog delinquent, quite surprised Sooz hasn't busted me on it yet!!!
