More on Sunday...on Monday

Sunday continued - best told in pictures. But I do need to mention that dinner at Cari's was delicious and she is doing great work on her house - hard work! (no pics)

I went to the Loom Room. They know Traci and look for her emails after their newsletters. They have some really really good stock. I LOVE the Retro Higgins Lake signs and they can personalize them. I bought this T-shirt. Love the fish - naturally.

Then it poured down rain and hailed - I had ALL my windows open. *sigh* yes, soaked the inside seats.

Then off to Cari's for dinner. I gave Dad his Father's Day present. I knitted him golf club covers, then I found out I knitted them to match the wrong golf bag! Oh well, he liked them anyway. He laughed when I called them dust covers.

Then it poured down rain again - complete with hail. We have been getting the same combo for 3 days. Lots of thunder, some lightning, pouring rain and then hail. On the way home we saw a rainbow, but I couldn't capture it on film. I did get a good shot of the dark clouds over Roscommon.

When I got home about a hour after the storm, I needed to take out the garbage. On my way out to the road I noticed an ice cube on the ground...and another and another. It was big chunks of hail! I ran in to get my camera and coming back I noticed a large amount near the carport. I had been teasing Ali about having snow when they came, but this is ridiculous!

The rest of the evening was spent digesting a big spagetti dinner and lounging on the couch. I started knitting some baby booties to practice for socks. I am still not sure about knitting socks, but I thought I could handle the little booties, for now anyway. Sadie wanted to cuddle and this is her pitiful cuddle-me face.

  3. Oh my - snow...well that could be fun too ya know?! Wish the loom room had a website with photos for out of towners like me. Last time seems they were all out of the good stuff - however it was later in the year. Maybe we will luck out this year! Love shopping there. We will have to plan an afternoon for shopping...who can keep the kids?
