Ever wondered what is like living "Up North"?
I turned 50 recently, so this now a 50 something woman exploring her numerous (if fleeting) interests while living in a rural area of vast natural resources, but little else.
Really, I started doing this as an experiment. It is my first blog. It has turned into much more. This is how I keep my thoughts straight, my angst known, my opinions expressed, and my friends and family up to date on my exciting adventures. Is knitting an adventure?

Sad News
My Uncle John in NC passed away unexpectedly in his sleep yesterday. He was a lot of fun and I admire him for overcoming the obstacles that he did. We are all having trouble accepting this and our thoughts and prayers are with our family in NC.
