Today is a blustery day (didn't Winnie the Pooh use that adjective?). It has even thundered loudly twice - Sadie barked to mark the occasion.
I most of the day organizing and cleaning the studio. What? A mess already? No, just wanted to find better ways of displaying my fiber and textiles. I tried to hang a couple things on the wall, but the items were awkward and heavy and I gave up until I can get some help, or find a better idea. I tried hanging a 5' chenille rug and a old cabinet I bought years ago on ebay and still haven't found a use for, vetoed all of it and now it looks the same as when I started! It is the only room in the house without artwork (or anything else) on the walls.
I played with my yarn a bit also. Straightened out a couple projects that were languishing on the needles in need of help. Listened to V is For Vendetta on the TV while I tried to straighten the studio in order to straighten my mind. I am slowly pulling the house back into shape after the cleaning spree. I have to go slow or the cats freak out and stop using the litter box - believe me, I tried. :(
When I stopped at my parents on Friday, I had asked if there were any plans for the family on Sunday - Dad's birthday. There were none at the time, and still none this morning, but Cari did a little persuading and we are going to have dinner at my parents. Lasagna, yuummm.
