Sunday, June 29

Anne had planned on going home today, but after talking with Saturn, On-Star, and Triple A it was decided that she would wait until Monday and get towed to TC for service. Exactly the opposite direction she needs to go, but the nearest dealership.

The three of us ended up at the lake house with the Ostling family again. They had a full house with more visiting family. Talk about southern hospitality!

We sat down on the dock while the kids played in and out of the water.

Liz was using her magic fishing pole to bring us whatever we wanted. Shoes, food, lots of fish. Anne finally realized we should be asking for a man. Duh! Our priorities were messed up. Next time Liz asked I requested a "perfect man please". She looked to the side for a moment, then back at me and asked "What's a perfect man?" We laughed ourselves silly.

We went shopping, visiting, and I think this is the night the three of us called it an early night and bought steaks for the grill. Anne met some more new people - Kristi's dad, more family at the lake house.

I had to go to work in the morning for my last day and had to go to bed early. I talked Kristi into staying in order to go to my knitting group on Monday night. Cari called and she was serving breakfast a 9am so Kristi's worries about what she was going to do while I was at work were solved. Cari was having her new windows installed and needed help moving furniture. I had to decline, but I RSVP'd for Kristi. :)
