I woke early and made my MARVIN call, then I called to check on my claim determination. They have all the forms from KCC and COOR, and they should make a determination on or around August 10th. Yeah, I know! Good news is that if I am approved, they will pay me something to make up for the reduced hours when I do go back.
Then outside to sip coffee on the deck, it is now my fair weather ritual. Then I built a kitty korral out of my old compost bin. It was a very ambitious compost bin. My cat, Lucky, has always been an indoor cat and has absolutely no interest in going outdoors. However, I think Mister was
I decided to take it easy the rest of the day. My feet have been really sore with all the productive stuff I have been doing. I settled for patching the holes in the drawer sets and getting them ready for sanding. That is my plan for tomorrow.
Today I have been hanging laundry on the line (another windy day), sitting on the deck, and laying in the hammock. I am watching the chipmunks torture poor Sadie. They chirp and act vulnerable right outside the reach of her zip line. When she can't take in anymore and she dives for them, they scream bloody murder (probably laughter) and dart into the bushes or under the deck.
Well, time to microwave dinner, get a shower, and go to knit knight.
