It is finally nearing the end of March and Winter is almost done.
We had a major winter storm this week and mother nature gifted me with 2 days off work due to the storm.
The week prior was spent at my beloved MACUL conference. This year was no different. I came home fired up, enthusiastic, and with a renewed interest in learning, technology, and my work. It was none too soon.
Recent events had caused me to knocked off balance. I was depressed, not taking care of myself, and lacked energy. I am glad to say, that has all changed, at least my attitude has. And the improved attitude is helping me cope with several situations.
I have been snowshoeing a lot this winter and I love it. I found a pair in the pole barn. My dad said they probably belonged to Grandpa Arv. I had to replace the leather laces, but they are in excellent condition and get me out and active! Sadie appreciates it.
Last week I was running around the Detroit waterfront without a coat. Wednesday, we received 8" of snow. Today it was -9 and I will be snowshoeing tomorrow. Gotta love March.
