My Life Up North

Ever wondered what is like living "Up North"? I turned 50 recently, so this now a 50 something woman exploring her numerous (if fleeting) interests while living in a rural area of vast natural resources, but little else. Really, I started doing this as an experiment. It is my first blog. It has turned into much more. This is how I keep my thoughts straight, my angst known, my opinions expressed, and my friends and family up to date on my exciting adventures. Is knitting an adventure?

Sadie and the deer

Sadie and the Deer

I know the camera technique leaves a lot to be desired, but hang in there. Watch the fur on the back just behind the collar and also right above the tail. I am no expert, but I think they are fear indicators, rather than aggressive. Like the words Sadie and aggressive belong in the same sentence! Ha!

No, but it fooled my sweet Sadie. Of course, she tried to play with the neighbor's dog statue once too. *sigh*
