My Life Up North

Ever wondered what is like living "Up North"? I turned 50 recently, so this now a 50 something woman exploring her numerous (if fleeting) interests while living in a rural area of vast natural resources, but little else. Really, I started doing this as an experiment. It is my first blog. It has turned into much more. This is how I keep my thoughts straight, my angst known, my opinions expressed, and my friends and family up to date on my exciting adventures. Is knitting an adventure?

How far would you go to show you're a fan?

As I am sure any football fan has heard, the Detroit Lions had another bad year. Real bad. So bad it sets a record for the worst season in NFL history. Hey, as long as you are famous for something...and another point, there is plenty of room for improvement.

Twisted Sister, a lonely fan, kept saying "They set a record". Well, while watching the news last night, I found another Lion fan that beats them all (I don't know how many "fans" there are). His name is Dan. Don't worry Uncle Dan, I don't mean you!
