Ever wondered what is like living "Up North"?
I turned 50 recently, so this now a 50 something woman exploring her numerous (if fleeting) interests while living in a rural area of vast natural resources, but little else.
Really, I started doing this as an experiment. It is my first blog. It has turned into much more. This is how I keep my thoughts straight, my angst known, my opinions expressed, and my friends and family up to date on my exciting adventures. Is knitting an adventure?

First snow today
I woke up this morning and there was this white stuff on the ground.
I called into work and told them I would be in when the snow was gone. The receptionist exclaimed "That could be May!" I assured her I would write.
