I even made it to Walmart and only went $5 over what I budgeted. That is major considering I thought I had dog food factored in and when I arrive at the dog food I discovered it wasn't on the electronic list! Sadie's usual food is $15. So I had to make some major cuts and had to downgrade the dog food and also downgrade my yogurt from yoplait to Walmart brand. Nothing unessential was purchased and I was in and out in 1/2 hour.
I haven't addressed the rest of the budget thing yet. Mister is sleeping on it in this photo.
The crawl space was not fun. But the good news is that there does not seem to be much damage to the subfloor under the bathroom. I left some of the insulation pulled down anyway to allow some air circulation - can't hurt, can it?
Did I mention I finished a knitting project I have been working on since August? Huge relief!

sounds like the budgeting is going well, without getting overly consumed with it. Perhaps, having it looming over your head, is the deterent your spending habits need!!
ReplyDeleteGas is $1.76 here! Enjoy it while you can, those gas companies need to make their billions, so it'll be going up soon. Wish I worked for one!
