Ike

I spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening watching Ike head for my loved ones in Houston, so I was relieved to call my parents this morning to hear that Traci had called and everyone was safe. No power, but they have a generator and lots of supplies.

Traci called mid-morning with another update. They had been checking the neighborhood for damage and there are lots of trees down - across the roads and on houses and cars. They have very little damage, but the pool is full of who knows what. She was pulling branches out of the pool. Steve fired up the generator and got the fridges and finally a TV so they could see what was going on "out there".
